In this
garage we created a fun and organized work space instead of a cluttered
unusable storage area. This was accomplished by sorting through all cardboard
boxes and organizing every boxed item into new see-through plastic
containers. Garden tools, bikes,
scooters, and other sports gear were hung up on walls using appropriate
organizers. All nails, screws and hardware were organized into drawer dividers &
small containers. All gardening
supplies were stored on a portable 3-tier metal cart.
Paint supplies were sorted & stored in
separate containers. Large equipment (adult
bikes, bike carriers, backpacks, ladders,
etc.) were hung on walls at appropriate heights. An old particle board closet was turned into
the “camping gear closet.” Wooden
blinds were added to dress up the window and keep others from seeing garage contents.
